  • Glyndon D. Bell did not fly any combat missions with the 384th Bombardment Group. He was transferred to the 29th Bomb Group on 6 April 1943 and then to the 385th Bombardment Group. He flew combat missions as a Pilot with the 385th BG between 23 September 1943 and 9 October 1943 when he was shot down in 42-30336, Miss Nonalee II. Missing Air Crew Report #824. He evaded capture and reached Sweden with the assistance of the Danish underground.
