  • From Harald Prins, 9 October 2010: Steve Brown, a nose-gunner on board a B-17 under Lt. Rucker in the 546th Bombardment Squadron, was a Paiute Indian tribesman from Nevada. He flew 33 missions, and received the Distinguished Flying Cross, the Air Medal, three oak-leaf clusters, and two battle stars. Born in 1919, this veteran passed away in California, January 2007.
