Ordered to London for one day for Official Business on AAF Station 106 Special Orders #159 dated 3 December 1943. Added as an officer of the Court-Martial (by amending para 13 of SO #110 dated 4 October 1943) on AAF Station 106 Special Orders #168 dated 15 December 1943. This order was revoked per Station Special Order #41 dated 1 March 1944. Appointed as a member of a Special Court Martial Board to meet at this Station upon call of the President for the trial of such persons as may be properly brought before it per AAF Station 106 Special Orders #41 dated 1 March 1944. Captain Langlois' name was revoked from Special Order #41 per AAF Station 106 Special Order #60 dated 29 March 1944. Detailed as Acting Commanding Officer of the 545th Bomb Squadron in the absence of Major Raymond P. Ketelsen per AAF Station 106 Special Orders #66 dated 7 April 1944. Update from Richard Langois: 'Captain Robert E. Langlois, Operations Officer 545th Bombardment Squadron. On April 8th, Major Ketelsen was placed on Detached Service with the 40th Combat Wing at Thurleigh and my dad was appointed Acting Squadron Commander. When he was shot down (during his 19th mission) on 27 April 1944 over Oberpfaffenhofen Germany, Major Parks was assigned from Headquarters Detachment to the command of the 545th. He is mentioned in George V. Strong Jr's Squadron History dated 1 February 1946 as one of the leaders of the 545th from Dec 28, 1942 thru February 28, 1946.'
