| Mixed Results Today: The 384th Bombardment Group (H) flew as the first and fourth groups in the 41st Combat Bombardment Wing's Order of Battle (referred to as A and B Groups in Group records) on today's mission. The A Group flew the mission as briefed with little difficulty, attacking the target using Gee-H aiming. The B Group was not able to rendezvous with the assigned lead Gee-H equipped aircraft from the 379th BG at Kimbolton (Station 117), and, although they tried to catch up with another group and bomb with them, were unable to attack any target. | |||
