Aircraft of the 384th Bombardment Group (H) flew as composite of 40th D Combat Wing (high squadron) and 41st A Combat Wing (low section of high squadron) on the mission flown today. Weather obscured the primary targets for both formations (A group primary was a Synthetic Oil Plant in 'Politz, Germany' - Police, Occupied Poland). The high squadron of the 40th D Combat Wing attacked the secondary target at Stargard, Germany (Occupied Poland): aiming was accomplished visually and bombs were away after an eight minute bomb run. The low section of the high squadron of the 41st A Combat Wing attacked the last resort target at Stralsund, Germany: aiming was accomplished visually and bombs were away after a twenty-four minute bomb run.
