We will once again meet with the Eighth Air Force Historical Society (8AFHS) at their reunion in New Orleans, Louisiana. The HQ hotel will be the Higgins Hotel and Conference Center⇗, a new hotel which bills itself as "The official hotel of The National WWII Museum" as it is right across the street from the Museum! The contracted room block is sold out but the overflow hotel, a Hilton Garden Inn, is a 5-minute walk up the street.
There will be interesting tours, with plenty of time for Museum visits and Group business meetings, as well as the important business of renewing old acquaintances and making new ones. The schedule will accommodate travel pretty well, with a light schedule on the first day (25 Sept.) for those needing to travel to NOLA on that day, and only farewells on the final day (29 Sept.) for those needing to return home right away.

We encourage all who plan to attend - or who would like to attend but are unsure if they will be able to - to call and make your hotel reservation right away. From experience, we know the reserved room block can sell out. Then, if you are not able to attend, you can cancel without charge. Note that I was unable to book online using the provided link, probably because I wanted to arrive before the 25th and depart after the 30th, but I called the reservations number and completed my booking without further problem.
