S/Sgt. Thomas T. "Curly" Cochran (Waist Gunner) of the James Foster crew.

"Curly" Cochran was killed in action (KIA) on May 8, 1944 with the rest of the James E. Foster crew when their aircraft was shot down over Sottevast, France.

Clayton crew members 2nd Lt. Joseph K. Uniskiewicz (Navigator) and T/Sgt. Robert C. Corpening (Toggler) were on board this aircraft as well. They were both killed.
