Win Jackson (Co-pilot) and Dick Dolf (Bombardier) of the Clayton
crew, say farewell to their wives at Dalhart Army Air Base, Dalhart, Texas.
These two couples were married just 5 weeks prior in a double wedding service
at the Dalhart Army Air Base Chapel on September 8th, 1943. Both men would be
severely wounded in action during their service overseas.
Win would not see his wife for about 16 months. Dorothy Jackson would give birth
to twin girls (Harriette and Beverly) 7 months before his return from the ETO.
