Promoted to Staff Sergeant per AAF Station 106 Special Orders #107 dated 1 October 1943. VOCO placing EM on Temporary Duty at Brockwood Cemetery near London for approximately two days of Official Business on or about 4 October 1943 is hereby confirmed and made of record per AAF Station 106 Special Orders #117 dated 13 October 1943. After being transferred from the 384th Bomb Group, Floyd Oliver Miller was assigned to the 401st Bomb Group, 613th Bomb Squadron. He was Killed in Action on 28 May 1944. MACR 5305
