Airfield Attacked: The 384th Bombardment Group (H) provided all three groups of the 41st B Combat Bombardment Wing on today's mission. Good visibility in the target area contributed to good bombing of this large Luftaffe facility near Leipzig. Although the lead aircraft of the low group ran into propwash on the bomb run, which caused an upset to the bombsight, overall results for the 42st B wing were good. |
