Bad Day For The Railroad: The 384th Bombardment Group (H) Flew two groups today, the lead and low groups of the 41st A Combat Bombardment Wing. Weather at the primary target was clear enough for visual bombing. The lead group's bombs hit the primary target area, and the low group aimed at adjacent railroad shops, with their bombs falling across the primary target and the shops. |

Additional personnel were provided by the 305th BG, including Donald S Morrison (pilot), Robert E DeMille (co-pilot, assigned as formation observer/tail gunner), David W McKinney (N), Elwood E Buller (R), Joseph E Burger (E/TT), Frederick W Plummer (FG), Raymond F Pardee (FG), all of whom were originally assigned to the 384th/544th, but were transferred to the 305th/422nd in early April. |
