Targets of Opportunity Attacked: The 384th Bombardment Group (H) provided two formations in the 41st Combat Wing on today's mission. Twenty-three aircraft formed the lead group of the Wing, under the command of Brigadier General Robert Travis, and six aircraft formed the lead squadron of the composite high group. Weather conditions prevented the Wing from attacking the primary or secondary targets, leading to the selection of targets of opportunity (TOO) for bombing (different TOO for each of the two 384th formations). |
