Critical Railway Junction: The 384th Bombardment Group (H) flew as the 41st Combat Wing B Group on today's mission. Visual bombing conditions enabled accurate aiming, although many of the bombs landed beyond the planned MPI, or 'long'. A traffic conflict caused the high squadron to hold its bombs on the first run and make a second run by itself, tacking on to another formation for the return flight. |
