Railroad Bridge Attacked: The 384th Bombardment Group (H) led the 41st Bomb Wing as the A Group on today's mission. Because of ground haze and a smoke screen, the bomb run was started using Gee-H guidance. However, shortly before the target, the lead bombardiers of each squadron picked it up in the bombsight and released their bombs using visual sighting. |
