| Transportation Targeted: The 384th Bombardment Group (H) flew as the 41st Bomb Wing A group on today's mission. The field order stated that if the primary target could not be attacked visually, groups should attempt to attack last resort targets or targets of opportunity - all marshalling yards or other railroad facilities in Germany - by visual means. If no visual targets were found, the primary should be attacked by PFF. The Group, after failing to locate a target of opportunity that could be attacked visually, released their bombs on the primary target using PFF aiming.
