384th Overcomes Weather: The 384th Bombardment Group (H) led the 41st Combat Bombardment Wing 'A' on today's mission, providing the lead group and the high squadron of the high composite group. Weather challenged the navigator and bombardier in the vicinity of the target, but there was enough visibility to identify and accurately bomb the primary target on the first bomb run - from an altitude of 11,800 feet! |
